KAITLYN ROSE

Kaitlyn Rose is an abstract expressionist painter originally from Michigan, now residing in British Columbia, Canada. In 2017, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Humanities and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Michigan State University.

Through her mixed-media paintings, Kaitlyn explores and acknowledges the chaos and sufferings life in this world brings, while choosing to express the beauty, growth, stillness, and light that can always be found. Reflecting on this truth during the process of creating, she weaves together abundant boldness, rawness, shifting colors, and distinct moments of pause.

Her work is inspired by a sense of hope that stretches beyond all circumstances, aiming to reach into heavenly spaces—swept out of despair and saturated in hope.
